I just checked my hive last Sunday ...Great photos. I just checked my hive last Sunday and couldn't find the queen. There was brood however, so I'm assuming she's there somewhere. It's always a relief to find her and see she's o.k. I likewise found some open pupae, not sure what that is about. Possibly still some varroa mites that the bees detected on the larvae and destroyed.
