So far, I've handled everything perfectly (no drops or slips, thank God) and the dexterity is fine. Even as good: not a single sting. Maybe a bee can sting through the Playtex rubber but the stinger can't get much into the skin, so .... little/no pain or venom injection. I hope this is useful.
Mitch in Greenville, NC
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27329001.post-26032621316545463342015-05-05T14:11:35.203-04:002015-05-05T14:11:35.203-04:00The link for the Betterbee slatted rack does not w...The link for the Betterbee slatted rack does not work. There is information that you can find on beekeeping websites all over the Internet that foundation sold by the major beekeeping suppliers is designed for cells that are larger than the bees might normally build. So I give them the freedom to build what they need.

In addition, all wax foundation sold by the suppliers has some degree of poison in it from the products used by the people who sold the wax to the suppliers. Jennifer Berry has documented this. So I want to allow my hives to be a natural and poison-free as possible and allowing the bees to build their own foundation accomplishes this.Linda Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08089537760868691562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27329001.post-24838929028830267092010-11-21T19:20:49.702-05:002010-11-21T19:20:49.702-05:00Thanks for the the very informative site, and the ...Thanks for the the very informative site, and the great photos.
