This is the tale that began in 2006 in my first year of beekeeping in Atlanta, GA. ...there's still so much to learn.

The Newest Baby Bee
I've paused in my beekeeping to welcome the newest baby "bee" to my family....my little granddaughter, Lark, born 10-6-09! I suppose that means she's a bird and not a bee, but nonetheless, I see a bee veil all her own in her future!
Congratulations! I love her name Lark! She is very beautiful and I know she will bring you and your family joy. Can't wait to see her in her beesuit! :)
What a great photograph, Linda--she's bee-u-tiful :). Lark 'n Linda has a nice ring to it. Know you're going to spoil her like a grandmother should! All the best to your daughter and her family. Keep us posted with more pix soon.
Linda, what a precious child! She looks calm and peaceful, which is how I felt when I saw the photograph. May she grow strong in mind and body, and live in a world of many bees! Susan
Congratulations to you and your family. I love her name and she is absolutely beautiful! There is nothing like the grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteYour family's latest babee looks like a honey.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, many congratulations to your family on behalf of the beekeepers in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteLark - hopefully she'll have a better singing voice that me!
I've guessed her first word already "b e e"
Lark is so beautiful, Linda! Congratulations on her arrival! Ryan, Liam and I are looking forward to meeting her. : )
